Summer days

Summer has come and gone and we are now starting to see fall leaves all around! I love this time of year, it is my most favorite season. The summer was a blast! So I have decided to compile some of the things we did over the summer.

We got a new swing set for free on craiglist! It kept my kiddos happy for hours. These crazy little monkeys have so much fun together!
Dress up happened on a regular basis, every little girl has to take time to dress up every now and then.

We went to the Library every week and did two summer reading programs and then to a little party to win some prizes. We love the Library!!!
Something I forgot to blog about a while ago was that the kids were in soccer. They finished before the summer started though. Here is Kaden receiving his certificate and trophy.
We love to climb trees! I climbed trees a lot when I was a kid. I sometimes see parents getting upset with their children for doing this and it just breaks my heart.
The kids both learned on the same day how to ride their bikes without training wheels! I was really impressed

We have a splash park in our community center, the water was as cold as ice cubes! It didn't seem to phase the kids though ;-)

We went to the rides on the river in Clayton NY. They had a rock wall, a bounce house, boat rides and tours of a house boat, a musician, and a magician. It was a lot of fun and the kids couldn't stop thanking me for taking them.

On labor day we decided to take the kids to the Wescott beach which is 30 min east from us. It was such a nice close to a wonderful Summer. It was such a beautiful evening, I just wish I would have brought my camera, it just doesn't take as clear of a picture with my phone.

Kenidi's 1st day of School

Our little Pumpkin is in First Grade! We woke up early this morning before daddy left for work so that he could give her a fathers blessing. I had a sister from the ward come and stay with kaden and Britynn so that I could take Kenidi to her first day of school. Kenidi's teacher is Ms. Baist and she is such a lovely lady. I have a very good feeling about her new teacher and her new class! Kenidi and I both could not wait for school to finally start. Here are a few pictures of Kenidi with her new teacher.
